Documents with editing restrictions
If the Microsoft Word document contains only a password to modify or document protection set, all passwords will be recovered instantly.
To learn more about protection methods used in Microsoft Word, click here.
Opening a document with modification protection:
- Copy the password to the clipboard by pressing the button "Copy to clipboard"
- Open the Microsoft Word document (you can use the link)), and then click "Unprotect Document" in the "Tools" menu.
- Paste the password from the clipboard (using the "Ctrl+V" hotkey) to the enter password field and press "OK"
- The document will no longer have editing restrictions.
If the "Save project into the Recovered folder" option is enabled, the project will be saved after closing the Wizard window. The password can be viewed at any time.
